New to Vancouver, and after doing a good amount of research to find a new mechanic, I decided to go with Brown’s Quality Automotive. Took my 2016 Mazda CX-5 today for a 100,000 mile service, as well as to check out some concerns I have had with my brakes. Robin gave me an estimate over the phone, and they were able to get me on their schedule quickly.

The service and brakes were done in a few hours, and I had a heart breakfast a few steps away at Carol’s Corner Cafe while I waited. When the service was finished, Robin lowered the labor costs for installation of my cabin filter, as the mechanic was able to access it quite easily.

Based on my previous experiences with mechanics, I’d say that prices at Browns are certainly fair (not the lowest, but definitely fair). After I left the shop to run some errands nearby, I felt compelled to go back to Brown’s Automotive to thank them yet again. This will sound like hyperbole, but it’s the honest truth: my sweet Mazda now brakes and drives better after this service than ever before! I am so thankful to have found an honest and skillful auto mechanic shop here in Vancouver. They will definitely be my go-to shop from now on. A+++

I had a great experience here after being disappointed by other repair shops. Dropped my car off before hours and picked it up after work. The owner is very genuine and thorough, and the pricing is affordable for the quality of service. I never felt like I was getting squeezed for more money to do senseless repairs - he was very honest and even gave me some extra tips for keeping my car in the best shape. Overall, I trust this guy! Don’t rely on text messaging though - calling to book is best 😉

I have taken cars to Brown’s multiple times over several years. They do great work in a short timeframe and are always polite.

My Pontiac had been making a whining noise every time I drove it for several years. Recently the noise increased & I made an appointment at Brown's to have it checked out. I was shocked on the day of my appointment, when I started the car & there was zero noise.When I arrived at Brown's it still was not making the noise. I was told they would check it out & that it could be any number of things. I left my car & received a call two hours later. I was told that the power steering fluid was dirty & low on fluid & they recommended it be changed & that doing the change might take care of the noise. They told me the cost & I asked them to do.I picked my car up the same day & the whining noise has not returned in almost a week.I will be making an appointment with Brown's soon with my Mazda. They will become my auto shop going forward. They were very friendly, professional & knew what they were doing.Thank you.

I have had two cars worked on here at Browns. (Toyota Avalon and GMC van) Both times they have been promt with estimates. Everything is made clear and itemized. I was able to pick the services I wanted done and to pressure to have more work done than what I took the car in for. They are fast and do quality work. Will use them in the future for sure.

Always gives us exactly what we need with no frills and none are needed. Personable, informative, accurate. Yearly check up with oil change, tire rotation, and 'computer check up'. All that is required to keep us running smoothly!

I brought in my vehicle for a local diagnosis and comparison vs what I was quoted from "a name brand store". After listening to my concerns, they performed a diagnosis for a reasonable price and came back to me with just an alignment and wheel rotation which solved the problem 100%. NOT all the stuff and large sum of money the other store wanted. Their honest opinion and expertise got me back on the road quickly and without headache. I recommend them 👌🏻

All of our cars are serviced here. Three Volkswagen, Nissan, and Chevrolet vehicles all get worked on at Brown's. Quality work is always done. Great service and communications.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Brown’s automotive for 16 years. I’ve experienced nothing but great things honest quotes and the best repairs. I consider them friends they don’t overcharge they don’t overestimate they remind me of Safeway and really try to have really good customer service I recommend using them for everything automotive.

Robin At Brown’s Automotive was excellent to work with. He was quick to respond when I left my car there and fix the problem in a very timely manner. I looked for an Acura certified mechanic and they did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I just had a radiator flush and refill plus a rear differential service on my 2018 Mazda Miata MX 5. At Browns Quality Automotive Service Great job done, I highly recommend Browns Professionalism and quality of work.. i give Browns a five star rating..

I can’t say enough…broke down driving from WA to Idaho and pulled into Browns. Even though they were booked & very busy they immediately got my jeep in to look at and did everything they could to get me back in the road. They were so kind and helpful. If I lived local this would definitely be my go to place. They are awesome!

Check engine light was on and needed oil. I was able to leave my car before they opened and pick it up after they closed. I paid via an electric invoice. Super easy for a work schedule that makes it hard to be there during business hours.

Brown’s was able to diagnose the problem that other shops were not. Very conscientious and professional.
